This is how Mexico is preparing for the Pan American Games

They are aiming for qualification to Lima 2027 and to improve on last year's 12th place team finish.

Mexico will be present at the 2026 Pan American Surfing Championship, which will take place in Playa Venao between April 24 and May 3, PASA informed DUKE.

The Mexicans are traveling with 14 of the 22 athletes who make up a full team. Some of them are internationally renowned, such as Maya Larripa, Kalama Stratton, Gordo Melendres, and Heriberto Torres.

Mexico finished 12th in the previous Pan American Games held in Guatemala.
