The Panamanian surfing association announced that it will compete with six surfers out of 12 that make up a complete team in the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship that will take place in Macumba, Rio de Janeiro, between November 24 and December 3.

Although they will not compete with all the participants, several talents shine in the team, such as the current ALAS Under 14 and Under 18 runner-up, Víctor Camarena and the experienced Teo Gale, who already has several ISA tournaments on his resume and was placed in 15th position last year.

Below are the details of the selection:

Under 18:
Teo Gale Grani
Diego Sánchez
Jose Alexander Lopez

Under 16:
Victor Camarena
Andres Castillero
Moses Zebedee

Coach: Agustin Cedeno

Panama finished 21st in the previous World Cup, in which it competed with a full team.
