The Panama Surfing Association (APS) announced yesterday the team that will represent their country in the surfing competition at the Central American Games, which will be held in Guatemala.

Surfing will take place in El Rosario between October 15 and 21, an event in which 13 Panamanians will participate out of 16 who make up a full team.

The team was missing a male shortboarder, a female longboarder and a female SUP racer.

Panama has several standouts, such as Edwin Nuñez, who won the Pan American Championship a few months ago on the same beach in El Rosario; Kai Gale, who is coming off a great result at the East Coast QS and a strong season in Indonesia; Agustín Cedeño, who is fighting for the ALAS Championship; and Edonays Caballero and Stephanie Bodden, who are powerful in SUP racing.
