Puerto Rico will be present at the 2018 edition of the ISA World Surfing Games with a team of 10 but adding all the points on the scoreboard since two under 16 competitors will also participate in the under 18 category.

The Puerto Ricans finished 2016th in last year's World Cup in Japan, where they participated with an incomplete team. In Azores 2015, when they did participate with a complete team, they finished 20th. In the previous edition of the tournament, Oceanside XNUMX, they also finished XNUMXth.
