This is how Brazil travels to the ISA World Longboard Championship in El Salvador

Sunzal will host four talents from the discipline who were team runners-up last year and are going for victory in 2024

Brazil, current vice-champion of the ISA World Longboard Team Championship, will participate in the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship with a powerful team, almost identical to last year's.

The event, which will take place on the perfect right-handers of El Sunzal between April 19 and 25, will feature the following athletes:

Rodrigo Sphaier
Carlos Bahia

Women
Atalanta Batista
Luana soares

Technical team
Paulo Moura – Team manager
Americo Pinheiro - Technician
Karina Abras - Technique
Vinicius Gilberto - Physiotherapist

Bahía finished second in the tournament and is the current world vice-champion. In the grand final last year, he was defeated by Frenchman Antoine Delpero.

Sphaier and Batista, meanwhile, placed sixth in last year's tournament.

Finally, Luana Soares, who was a member of the longboard CT in 2023, joins the team in place of Chloe Calmón who is traveling the world, free surfing, currently in Bali, Indonesia.

Soares is coming off a win at the LQS tournament in Uruguay and is the current leader of the WSL South American rankings.
