Puerto Rico announced a strong team for the ISA World Championships that will take place between February 23 and March 3 in La Marginal de Arecibo.

The Puerto Ricans will be looking for medals and one of the five male and seven female spots for surfing in Paris 2024 with the following athletes:

Men
Brian Toth
Dwight Pastrana
Ricardo delgado

Women
Mia Calderon
Havana Cabrero
Jolari Carreras

The Puerto Ricans finished 20th in last year's World Cup in El Salvador, but they have the great advantage of playing at home in the tournament.

Their team combines the maturity of a veteran and very prominent competitor like Brian Toth, the youth and rebellion of Dwight Pastrana, Havanna Cabrero, Mía Calderón, Jolari Carreras and the mix of both components in Ricardo Delgado.

The Puerto Ricans also have the very experienced coach Magnum Martínez as well as a strong support team.
