This is the manual for the Lima 2019 surfing test
Includes how all the crossings will be after round 1 and the schedule for each of the competition days
The progression of the series of the Lima 2019 surfing event, as well as those of longboard, SUP Surf and SUP Race were disclosed to the national Olympic committees.
The one below is a copy that DUKE accessed from one of the Pan American NOCs.
Some of the new features are that the repechage final will be the series that will decide the bronze, the SUP Race athletes will have a single series that will be the grand final, the athletes will stay in the Olympic village located about 45 minutes from Punta Rocas, the tournament is planned to end on Saturday but a “reserve day” is saved for Sunday.
On the other hand, there is a pre-established schedule for the different team training sessions. It is not established whether there will be a penalty for not complying with it or whether the access to the water for free surfers will be limited.
