Tao Rodríguez (PAN) in the open men, Melanie Giunta (PER) in the open women, Lucas Garrido Lecca (PER) in the longboard men, Kirra Silver (MEX) in the longboard women, Victor Camarena (PAN) in the under 14 and under 18 men, Gwendolyn Adams (USA) in the under 14 women and Rachel Agüero (CRC) in the under 18 women are the leaders of the ranking before the start of the fifth stage of the year, the ALAS of Guatemala.

The tour began in Mancora, Peru, continued through Punta Rocas, Peru, then went through Jaco, Costa Rica and Isabela, Puerto Rico. It now reaches its final stretch, with three stages remaining: Guatemala, El Salvador and a final stage in El Salvador.

Of the seven stages that will conclude the year, the four best will be added together to determine the champions.

In the open there is an interesting fight even between the top 10, they are separated by just over 1000 points at 1 out of 10.

In the open women's category there is a little more difference, with Giunta almost doubling the points of Guatemala's Tiziana Prem who is tenth.

Men's and women's longboarding have had little contact, and where there is competition is in the under 14 and under 18 categories, with several contenders. Among the men, Panamanian Victor Camarena leads both the under 14 and under 18 categories.

It is worth noting that everything seen so far can change radically, especially with these two stages that follow: Guatemala awards three stars and El Salvador six. That is to say that a single surfer can earn 9000 points in two events.
