Central American surfing will celebrate the 2024 edition of its most important event for nations at El Paredón beach in Guatemala between September 27 and 29, the surfing association of that country reported on its Instagram.
Competitors from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and local Guatemalans will be present at the event to compete in the shortboard, bodyboard, longboard and SUP categories.
The tournament will serve as a preview of the Olympic-style Central American Games that will take place in Guatemala in 2025 and will feature different surfing disciplines.
Costa Rica is the great leader of the Central American events, having won all the editions held in the team ranking.
