Three Hispanic Americans who surfed the historic swell in Hawaii
And their respective photos and videos
From what has been perceived through social networks, Peruvians Alonso Correa and Martín Jerí and Mexican Alan Cleland are so far three of the Latin Americans who have surfed the wild, giant, violent and historic swell in Oahu last Saturday.
Martín Jerí, who now works as a lifeguard at Sunset Beach, went to Peahi and landed some incredible right-handers.
Alan Cleland and Alonso Correa then chose to head out onto the water at Waimea. Cleland wrote that his day had been "fun" and Correa exclaimed that it was the "scariest day" of his life.
