Tickets to attend the event at Kelly's pool cost between $80 and $9500.
The WSL has opened ticket sales for the Founders' Cup. The most expensive ticket allows you to surf the wave
The World Surf League has just opened ticket sales for the first public event at Kelly's pool, the Founders' Cup, a tournament that will pit five teams against each other on May 5 and 6. Prices range from a "reasonable" $80 for a single grom, $99 for adults per day just to get in, to $9500 with everything included and the chance to ride the wave.
The intermediate option costs $499 for two days and offers a better seat but all meals and alcoholic beverages are included.

The most interesting ticket, of course, is the one for 9500. According to the details in the text, surfing would be for one hour on the following Monday, and whoever paid would have their own locker, video and photos… And, in addition, they got free entry to the party that would take place once the event was over.
Who pays those $9500? If you're interested, This is the site to buy tickets (click here).
