Tomorrow, Thursday, May 5, the third stage of the WSL Latin America regional tour will begin on the waves of Tongo Reef, the Sails of Change Cup, Galapagos, QS 1000 that will crown champions at the female and male levels.
The forecast from the main models shows that there will be good waves on the classic left, with a south-southeast swell varying between one meter and two meters and a period of between 15 and 19 seconds for the four days of the tournament.
The men's series have been published on the WSL website, but not yet the women's series.
The tournament format features a round 1 with eight heats of Ecuadorian surfers and a round 2 with international seeded surfers from Brazil, Peru and Chile. From this round of 32, the round of 16 determines the quarterfinalists man-to-man until a man-to-man final is determined.
