Two solid swells will break, in fact the first is already breaking, at Teahupoo before and during the final stretch of the CT regular season, Surfline shows in its long-range forecast, which for places like Tahiti is usually quite accurate.

The first of the swells began to break these days, and some bombs have been seen on social media.

The second, which looks set to arrive in time for the championship, which takes place between August 7 and 16, will arrive on August 4, when waves will go from 2 to 3 feet on the 3rd to 8 to 10 feet on the morning of the 4th, growing to 15 to 18 feet by midday and ending the day at 15 to 20 feet.

The sea will reach its peak on August 5th with a day of 20 to 25 pm, probably with tow-in and surfing at the river mouth, and will begin to recede a bit on the 6th, which will still end the day at 15 to 18 pm.

The first day of the waiting period, day 7, begins with waves of 10 to 15 and ends with waves of 8 to 12 and good conditions.

The second day the weather remains good from 8 to 10 and all day long.

By the 9th, waves will range between 4 and 8 feet.

The event could take place over these three days if conditions permit.
