Costa Rican Oscar Urbina, Argentine Lucia Indurain, Panamanian Teo Gale, Peruvian Catalina Zariquiey, Peruvian Kailani Vicensini, Peruvian Briana Barthelmess, American Tony Silvagni and Peruvian Maria Fernanda Reyes won the ALAS of Guatemala that concluded today with fun waves breaking at El Paredon.
This was the sixth of seven stops on the tour and the heaviest of the year in terms of points, with 5000 points awarded to open ladies and 4000 for the rest of the categories.
The leaders of the ranking remained in the eight categories; in the open women's category, Rubiana Brownell came close to Marcela Machado and in the open men's category, Joaquín del Castillo came close to Darshan Antequera, who still had a good result in the semis.
