Uruguay confirmed its team for the ISA Junior World Cup

After five years, the Charrúas will once again score full points in Huntington Beach


The Uruguayan Surfing Union confirmed DUKE as the team that will represent the light blue team in the 2018 edition of the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship that will take place between October 27 and November 4 in Huntington Beach, California.

This will be the first time since 2013 that Uruguay will score a full point in this World Cup, and it will do so with its three U-16 women also competing in the U-18 category.

Uruguay finished 29th in Japan, 19th in Azores 2016, 33rd in Oceanside 2015, 16th in Ecuador 2014 and 17th in Nicaragua 2013, the last time it included all its participants.
