Venezuelan Federation announced date to select the team that will go to the World Cup in Japan
On June 30 and July 1, the national check will take place on three different beaches in the state of Vargas

The first national check-up organized by the Venezuelan Surfing Federation (FVS) will take place on June 30 and July 1 at three different beaches: Los Caracas, Playa Pelua and Punta de Care, in the state of Vargas, the newly elected president of the authority, Thaina Luna, informed DUKE.
The activity will aim to “form the National Team that will attend the ISA World Championship” to be held in Japan in September. The three women and three men who will travel to represent the Vinotinto to the 2018 World Surfing Games will then be determined.
FVS President Thaina Luna told DUKE that this event seeks to observe the current universe of surfing in the country. Also, to give the signal of action of the work that begins and will continue because there are many aspects to cover and work on. She explained that there is a logistics created to facilitate the transfer between the three beaches during the two days of the event.
On the other hand, Luna made a call to the surfing community, assuring that the FVS has a clear objective towards which it is working and it is important to allow things to flow and as time goes by, the work will speak for itself.
Registrations
The FVS has enabled an online form through which those interested in participating in the event must register.
Likewise, the president of the FVS invited those interested to stay tuned for the publications that will be made through the Instagram account @Fvsurfing. Where the steps to follow will be specified as the date of the event approaches.
Thus, the newly installed Venezuelan Surfing Federation continues to move forward, even after the departure of Vice President Ahmed Pérez two months after his inauguration.
