Vissla awards over $10.000 to the best board art
A total of 10 boards will be awarded with cash prizes; the winner takes home 5.000; Thomas Campbell, Jason Woodside, Alex 'Superwolf' Villalobos and Drew Brophy are the judges.

The Vissla brand launched the third edition of the Add Colors Surfboard Art Contest, an online event that awards the best art on a surfboard, they announced on their website.
With judging by heavyweights Thomas Campbell, Jason Woodside, Alex 'Superwolf' Villalobos and Drew Brophy, more than $10.000 will be shared for the best paintings, with the former taking home $5000.
Below is the distribution of prizes:
$5000 – 1st
$2500 – 2st
$1250 – 3st
$500 – 4th - 6th
$250 – 7th -10th
According to the Vissla website, videos and photos of the art should be posted on Instagram using the hashtag #VisslaAddColor2024. “Be sure to document the process, we’d love to see how it was done.”
They also clarify that all forms of art are welcome: resin work, Posca, spray painting, etc. And that tracing sheets are not allowed. “It must be handmade for the entry to be valid,” they clarify.
Applications are accepted until December 15, 2024.
