WSL and Lexus sign multi-year contract

They do not specify how many; the car brand will be a sponsor of the WSL awards, the Pipe Pro, the Trestle Pro, the US Open of Surfing and the WSL finals.

The WSL has expanded its partnership with Japanese car brand Lexus, signing a multi-year contract and making it the sponsor of five of its events: the WSL Awards, the Pipe Pro, the Trestle Pro, the US Open of Surfing and the WSL Finals, the company reported in a press release.

“Lexus and the WSL are united by a shared drive for innovation, excellence and performance. This expanded partnership will allow us to elevate the fan experience to new heights, creating incredible moments for the surfing community,” said Lisa McQueen, marketing media manager for Lexus.

Cherie Cohen, Chief Revenue Officer for the World Surf League, said: “We are kicking off the 2025 season alongside Lexus at Pipe and are very excited to continue developing this partnership with Lexus over the coming years.”
