WSL cancels $9.500 ticket sales for Surf Ranch Pro

The one that offered the possibility of surfing the day after the event, despite being the first to sell out in the last tournament

The WSL canceled the sale of the successful passes to surf Slater's pool the day after the event, those that cost $9500 and offered the possibility of watching the championship in the VIP area and then sliding into the Surf Ranch.

According to information provided to DUKE by the WSL ticket sales staff, there is another event on Monday that caused a “conflict” with the time slots that the buyers of these tickets would occupy and therefore the sale of these tickets had to be cancelled despite the fact that they were the first to sell out for the Founders Cup and that they went on sale a month ago.

Asked about this, WSL press officer Dave Prodan did not know what activity was taking place on Monday that caused ticket sales to be cancelled and indicated that information regarding everything related to the Surf Ranch is handled by the business development department.

Hopefully, after the eighth CT we'll know what's going on that following Monday. It should be important enough for the WSL to miss out on earning approximately half a million dollars (estimating approximately 50 buyers).

Blink 182 on Saturday night
The WSL confirmed today that the band in charge of Saturday night's concert will be none other than the soundtrack of the Momentum generation, Blink 182.
