With good waves breaking in Biología Argentina, between half a metre and one metre and onshore winds, a new edition of the Rip Curl Pro Playa Grande began, the first after the pandemic.

The classic Mar del Plata event has not been held since 2019. The round of 56 was held and the round of 48 was taken to the water.
