With the quarter-finals of the CS de Saquarema determined and with Nadia Erostarbe out of the competition but partially in fifth place, there was only one path left for the Basque surfer to get into the CT depending on the results of the others.

Incredibly, all of her direct rivals, currently ranked 6th to 9th in the live rankings, managed to make it to the quarterfinals. They are: Vahine Fierro, Luana Silva, Yolanda Hopkins and Sophia Medina.

And, the quarterfinals are like this:

-Teresa Bonvalot vs Yolanda Hopkins
-Vahine Fierro vs Sophia Medina
-Isabella Nichols vs Janire González Etxebarri
-Macy Callaghan vs Luana Silva

With 21660 points already under its belt, Erostarbe needs you to:

-Vahine Fierro and Luan Silva lose their respective matches against Sophia Medina and Macy Callaghan in the quarterfinals. If either of them advance to the semis, they beat Nadia.

-Teresa Bonvalot beats her compatriot Yolanda Hopkins. Bonvalot has no chance of beating Erostarbe and the thing is that Hopkins needs to reach the grand final to overtake Nadia.

-Since Sophia Medina also needs to reach the grand final, if she were to get past that quarterfinal match against Fierro, if she were to face Hopkins, there would be no way that one of the two (Medina or Hopkins) would not beat Nadia, since one of the two would definitely make it to the grand final and manage to beat the Basque.

-In the eventual semi-final between Bonvalot and Medina, Bonvalot should win. If Medina wins, the Brazilian will beat Erostarbe.

In other words, and in a summarized and clear way, Nadia needs Bonvalot to beat Hopkins and Medina to beat Fierro and in the semis Bonvalot to beat Medina. If Medina wins that semi, she surpasses Nadia.

And, on the other side of the bracket, Luana Silva loses against Macy Callaghan.

If this happens, Nadia qualifies for the CT, if this doesn't happen, she doesn't.
