Nadia Erostarbe chose the number 72 in her first full CT season because her mother, Erika Geiser, was born that year, the surfer told DUKE.

He explained that since he uses his father's last name to compete, it was time for his mother to be honored in his competitions.

Nadia said that to choose the number she receives a list from 1 to 99 with details of those that are already occupied and those that are free.

Nadia's jersey is now on sale for $100 on the WSL website.

He has the flag of the Basque Country on one sleeve and the flag of Spain on the other.
