ALAS and a Panamanian organizer are very close to finalizing two three- and four-star events in Paunch, Bocas del Toro, and Playa Venao, on two consecutive weekends, sources close to the organization told DUKE.
If negotiations are confirmed, the first event would be a four-star resort between July 22 and 27 in Paunch, Bocas del Toro, and the second would be a three-star resort between July 30 and August 3 in Playa Venao.
The ALAS schedule shows ALAS de Venao as the only Panamanian event on the schedule.
If these negotiations are confirmed, there will be two such events.
With the new ALAS format of global finals in El Salvador, which now includes qualification through the South American, Central American, and North American and Caribbean regionals, another event will be added to the qualifying calendar.
The calendar also includes unconfirmed stops in Nicaragua in August, Costa Rica in late August, and Guatemala in November.
