With Slater present, the fifth CT is coming
Bali Pro starts on Sunday in Keramas. Courtney Conlogue also returns; Anwar and Wright are wildcards
Everything indicates that Corona Bali Protected will begin on the first day of the waiting period, Sunday, May 27 (Saturday afternoon for the west) with a modest swell that will be breaking for at least three days.
The main novelty of the tournament, apart from the fact that the CT returns to Bali after five years, is that Slater will once again wear a competition rashguard in a circuit event (a couple of weeks ago he was part of the American team at the Founders' Cup).
The American had suffered a foot injury at JBay last year, recovered for the Pipe Masters but then had to undergo another operation. After competing at the Founders Cup but mysteriously claiming he was still injured for Rio, Kelly is finally back, supposedly in shape.
He will face Ace Buchan and Griffin Colapinto in Round 1 (he is cheap in Fantasy).

The other returnee is multiple women's title contender Californian Courtney Conlogue, who also had a foot injury and after missing the first four stages, will kick off her year in Keramas.
Conlogue will face Carissa Moore and Silvana Lima in a super series.
The WSL wildcard for men was awarded to Mikey Wright who, if he continues to do well (he's 24th now), will guarantee himself a spot on the CT without having to achieve results in the QS.
Meanwhile, the local wildcard is Oney Anwar among the men and among the women it has not yet been decided.
