The second women's surfing event was held on the legendary Los Botes beach in La Paloma. Women of all ages, levels and surfing styles met to promote women's surfing; and above all to enjoy a day of sun and waves at the beginning of the Uruguayan spring.

This was the second edition of this event, which, unlike the first, did not include any kind of competition. There was a great free surfing session, and sports and artistic activities on the beach, as well as gifts.

“Our idea was to include as many women as possible, so we decided not to have a competition, but rather a big surf session exclusively for women of all ages. Several national champions surfed together, with girls who are learning, bodyboarders and longboarders. It was a beautiful day,” commented the organizers.
