Yago Dora was injured and may be out for the first stages of CT 2022

He suffered a Lisfranc injury in his left foot while doing an aerial and underwent surgery

Brazilian Yago Dora was injured while doing an aerial on December 23 and may miss the first stages of the CT 2022 tour, he reported on his social networks.

“The end of the year did not go exactly as I had planned. I had been training very hard for a month and on December 23 I suffered a Lisfranc injury in my left foot,” said Dora, who added that he was operated on immediately and that the surgery went well.

“Now the focus is entirely on recovery,” he added.

In a subsequent post, he said he would be “out of the ocean for a while.”

The first event of the season, the CT de Pipe, will take place between January 29 and February 10 and according to medical sources consulted on the Internet, recovery from the injury takes between four and six weeks.

Yago Dora finished 2021 in the best position of his season, in ninth place in the world rankings.
