Yellow alert given for the Nazaré Challenge

Natxo and Axi are getting ready; Friday, November 16th looks good for the launch of the first stage of the 2018/2019 big wave tour


The Nazaré Challenge is on yellow alert, the WSL announced recently on social media and in a press release. According to them, a powerful swell is heading to Praia do Norte and this Friday the wind conditions look good for a big and perfect break.

As a rule, the green light must be given 48 hours in advance, in the following hours confirmation should come or return to waiting.

Basque surfer Natxo González, who qualified for the tour last year, will be in the tournament and his neighbour, Axi Muniain, who has already acted as a rescuer, appears among the substitutes.
