What you look for in Huntington, more than good paddling, because the wave is not that big and it rises well, is that it crosses the sections quickly, that is, that it is fast and that it is quite loose in the game from edge to edge quickly because there are not many spaces sometimes, that it is loose in the pocket and comes out with speed.

tail
Regarding the tails for the US Open, either model can be a squash or swallow tail, which are both very loose. You need a very loose tail that allows you to make quick transitions, that is loose in the pocket, that doesn't stick too much.

Rocker
Well marked in the tail, which makes it loose and forward is a medium rocker that gives it the speed and forward motion to connect the sections, that combined with the single concave and the medium edges that they have makes the board very smooth at all times and forward motion.

Recommended Models
The Murder model is similar, but because it has a double concave and V, it makes the board much looser and is for a surfer who plays more, not so much with the edge, but more with the bottom, like a more Brazilian beach break style, who plays a lot with the bottom and wants to put in a lot of maneuvers in a short period of time on the wave, so the board is very loose, it has speed, while the Tiki provides a little more projection, it allows you to surf more with the edge, while the Murder lets you surf more with the flat and in short spaces.

Both are basically all-weather boards. We recommend the first one for Punta Rocas and it can be used for beach break waves, because its rocker, which is not as pronounced towards the tip, but is not flat either, allows you to go fast, cross the sections quickly and the kick it has at the back makes the board loose.
