A swell will arrive for the longboard world championships

El Sunzal will be El Sunzalote for at least three of the seven days of the event; and for the rest of the day, there will be plenty of waves.

There will be plenty of waves for the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship, a world championship that will determine the team and individual champions in the category.

The event runs from April 25th to May 1st.

The same swell that greenlit the Pico Alto big wave event will hit El Salvador with a vengeance.

Models like Surfline's predict waves of 8 to 10 feet for the 27th and 28th. Earlier, it predicted that the sea would rise for the start of the event, from 4 to 6 feet on the 24th to 5 to 8 feet on the 25th and 26th.

Finally, on the 29th, 30th, and 1st, the weather drops slightly and conditions improve, with waves of 5 to 7 and good conditions.
