Agustín Cedeño on the swell of the century in Venao: “It was an epic, great and orderly day”
And the video that proves it
Playa Venao had its day of glory a couple of days ago. The sea was solid like never before and the young local @agustin made the most of it. “It was an epic, big and orderly day. The swell went down and it was magical the next morning.”
“On the biggest day I landed a couple of bombs, I couldn't get into the tube at the beginning because I couldn't find the spot and it was my first time running a 7'5 mini gun, so I didn't have the stride or the feeling,” he added.
“So I just ran the first three bombs, I missed the biggest set because I was out of position, but at the end I did manage to find a gem, a left tube that I got out of. My friend and big wave rider Richy Arosemena told me from outside that the set that I missed was about 15 feet,” he said.
“So I was amazed and waiting for another set of those, I'm still waiting for the next swell,” he concluded.
