Annette Gonzalez Etxabarri won the Junior Pro of La Torche

Kai Odriozola was runner-up; both made it into the top 5 of the European regional ranking that qualifies for the WSL Junior World Championships

San Sebastian surfer Annette Gonzalez Etxabarri won the third stop on the WS European Junior Regional Circuit, the E.Leclerc Pont L'Abbé Junior Pro which concluded in perfect one-metre waves at La Torche.

In the grand final she beat the local Frenchwoman Maelys Jouault by 16,83 to 16,1 in a grand final and before that, in the semi-finals, she had beaten another Frenchwoman: Sarah Leiceaga.

On the men's side, Basque Kai Odriozola made use of his strong backside to place second in the tournament, behind Frenchman Nicolas Paulet.

Odriozola defeated Portuguese Francisco Ordonhas in the semi-finals and Belgian Dean Vandewalle in the quarter-finals.

The result, one stage before the closing of the ranking that classifies for the WSL Junior World Championships, left the ranking as follows:
