Another Namibia in Peru?
With Villaran, Toto, Guille Gonzalez, Mateo Melgar and Joaquin Coloma
There are so many perfect tubular lefts on the Peruvian coast that it is difficult to distinguish one from another.
A few weeks ago, Jonathan Gubbins and then a larger band visited a wave called Perumibia.
As the information is classified when it comes to talking about this, it is not clear if this is Perumibia or if it is another discovery by the band led by Gabriel Villarán. What is clear is that the resemblance to the wave considered the best in the world exists and that the wave is epic.
"The positive thing I've taken away from this pandemic is being able to take the time to go on new expeditions at home and hang out with friends. Connecting with a remote place and enjoying the simple things in life is a unique feeling," Villarán wrote about these tubular sessions.
