Australia doesn't stop; Joel Parkinson says he felt like he was in Hawaii
Snappers, Kirra and the rest of the coast generating waves thanks to a series of cyclones
Every so often the Australian machine turns on and doesn't stop.
A few days ago it was reported that the land of kangaroos had ended its year well and had ended it better.
It just seems to be going strong. The weekend saw a series of amazing days at Kirra and today Snapper Rocks was Hawaiian, said Joel Parkinson.
Specifically: "I haven't had many days like this at home since I retired, but this day made me feel like I was in Hawaii. The power of the ocean made me appreciate all the years I spent on the North Shore. It was great to feel the power of the ocean after a long few months of flatlining at home."
Others who won over were brothers Mikey and Owen Wright, who dominated the session at Kirra.
A lot of things happened. We will update you little by little.
