Barbados confirmed a strong team for El Salvador
Includes former CT Chelsea Tuach and current QS top 100 Josh Burke
Presents Surf City El Salvador
Former CT member Chelsea Tuach, QS powerhouse Josh Burke and talents Che Allan, Bruce Mackie, Chelsea Roett and Gabriella Gitttens will represent Barbados at the ISA World Championships in El Salvador taking place in La Bocana and El Sunzal from May 29 to June 6.
The team's official account announced the formation on social media and wrote: “We will go to El Salvador to seek a place in surfing's debut at the Olympic Games.”
The island of Barbados, surrounded by high-quality pointbreaks around it, has many meeting points with El Sunzal and La Bocana.
This team, with a lot of competitive experience at regional and global level, is another one that travels to El Salvador with power.
Chelsea Tuach was a CT member in 2016, Josh Burke was a QS top 100, Chelsea Roett, Che Allan and Bruce Mackie competed in several QSs and the new addition is Gabriella Gittens, about whom not much information is available.
