According to California filmmaker Jason Mini Blanchard, the protagonist of this clip, Josiah Amico, like most surfers on the planet, works at a supermarket in California and takes advantage of the time between shifts to go to the water in the Ventura area.

It makes clear that professional talent is not only possessed by the pros. Even more so in times of an industry in recession and Covid-19.
