The Brazilian surfing team has just won the ISA Junior World Championships trophy at Macumba Beach, Rio de Janeiro.

In the last final of the day, the Brazilians needed American competitor Zoe Chait not to win, and that is what happened.

With this, Brazil, which won gold in the Under 18 men's category with Ryan Kainalo and bronze and copper in the Under 16 men's category with Guilherme Lemos and Ryan Coelho, in addition to the rest of the team's results, managed to add 6125 points that were not surpassed by the rest of the nations.

The last time the Brazilian team won this trophy was in 2003, at the World Cup in Durban, South Africa.
