Breeze started with defeat in Western Australia
Now they will face Luana Silva and India Robinson in the elimination round.
Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy started with a defeat in stage 5 of the CT, the Margaret River Pro, which today contested its first round in one-meter waves with strong offshore.
This is the second time in exactly five stages that she has fallen to the elimination round, after having made three semi-finals and avoiding the aforementioned phase in three tournaments (Pipe, Sunset and Bells).
Hennessy was unable to find the waves in her heat against Isabella Nichols and Tatiana Weston Webb, scoring 8,6 and the other two 10,34 and 9,56 respectively in a heat that was slow for everyone and which declared the end of the competition because the sea was inconsistent.
Brisa will now face Luana Silva of Brazil and India Robinson of Australia in the second round of the elimination round.
On a day where the scores were far from excellent, the best was Bettylou Sakkura Johnson who scored 12,33.
