This Costa Rican slab surfed for the movie Snapt 4 by several of the world's best, including Jack Robinson, was considered by Seth Moniz to be the most dangerous wave he ever surfed in his life.

In a session with more locals, Costa Rican filmmaker Christian Diaz Carvs captured the magic of the wave once again.

"We have been monitoring the wave, Bird Island, affectionately, Jack Robinson, the gang of @snapt4 and we call it Black Slabeth, the whole season and this team came out in a couple of days following the forecast that the big places indicated. It was three days and the last one was perhaps the best and the gang in the water was incredible, Oscar, Martin, Cali, Killian Guerin, Gaston, Darshan, and the locals Leo and Marlon, the rest is history. Everyone is welcome. Pura vida," Díaz Carvs told DUKE about the production of his video.

The wave is a mix of The Box with Right and Backdoor Lances.
