Jadson André entered the competition; all the series changed
It is confirmed: The best in history, Kelly Slater, will not compete in the Rio Pro, the eighth stage of the WSL CT, as shown on the website of the institution that modified all the series and included Jadson André in the competition zone.
Slater had indicated in an IG story that he had been sick for five days, feeling “fever, sinusitis, chills, headaches, stomach flu, etc. I’m happy to have made it home amidst these bumps,” he wrote.
The competition series now look like this:

Slater last competed in Brazil in 2019. With his goal of retiring after a possible participation in Paris 2024, that could have been his last appearance in the Brazilian CT.
