Australian board brand DHD, led by shaper Darren Handley, has taken the lead in the Vissla builders rankings following the Sunset Beach stage which concluded on Wednesday.

Molly Picklum's victory and Liam O'Brien and Isabella Nichols' quarter-final finishes were key to Australia taking the top spot in the rankings.

Now Town and Country is second, Sharp Eye third, Pyzel fourth and Channel Island fifth.

The big surprise at the start of the season is the absence from the top 5 of the current ranking champion, San Clemente shaper Matt Biolos and his Mayhem boards.
