False alarm: Medina is fine
The blow that occurred in Uluwatu did not go any further

Gabriel Medina scared the 200 million Brazilians yesterday after taking a tumble while surfing in Uluwatu, landing on the same knee he had injured a year ago. According to Stab, the Brazilian was seen surfing and is fine, with no visible problems. All this was nothing more than a scare that lasted a couple of hours.
The Brazilian landed an alley oop, landing with his front foot planted but slipping on his back foot, causing him to twist his knee in a rather ugly way (see video).
In round 3 of the event that started as the Margaret River Pro and is now the Uluwatu CT, Medina will face Australian talent Jack Robinson. The Australian will not have a bye, as Mikey Wright does after the withdrawal of John John Florence.
