The world's most accomplished big wave surfers and rescuers, including Greg Long, Kohkl Christiensen, Tim Pat Chong, and others, joined their friend Gabriel Villarán in Peru in April to teach the 2022 Big Wave Risk Assessment Group (BWRAG) training.

They travel around the world teaching how to handle all situations in the heaviest waves on the planet in order to avoid the long list of tragedies that took place in surfing before they existed and before it was realized that surfers must constantly be looking out for each other.

Care has techniques and the most sophisticated techniques applied to surfing are taught by the BWRAG.
