From Teahupoo to El Gringo almost without stops
In these weeks, Joaquín del Castillo is one of the most intubated beings on the planet

In the space of a few weeks, Joaquín del Castillo has been to two of the most tubular places on the planet.
He spent a few days taking pipes at Teahupoo and now he's at El Gringo de Arica, doing the same.
Is Joaquin one of the surfers with the most barrels on the planet? It's hard to say, but if you count the last four weeks, he's probably ranked pretty high.
“I had the trip to Teahupo'o in my sights for many years, I always wanted to go and spend a season there and thanks to my alliance with United I can now go to that destination and many more. So I will be active looking for swells around the world, a dream come true,” Joaquín told DUKE.

“The wave seemed impressive to me at the beginning, how it takes you down in a wipe out and when you come out of the tumble it works you back down (laughs), without a doubt I need more time there and have the opportunity to paddle those days of 10 to 12 feet because the goal is to grab the rope and throw myself the tube of life,” he added.
“I want to add a greeting to the locals and thank them for the good energy Tehotu, Sharon and her daughter Anahi, Haumana, Tereva David, Domenic and everyone who made this trip incredible,” he concluded.
He was then quickly seen getting tubes at El Gringo, where he actually took advantage of a trip with his school, which will be competing in the circuit of the nursery that is taking place there this weekend: “The whole team from the Del Castillo School is coming, where I live, we have a school with my brother and we have come to train the kids. I realized that this little swell was coming so I could get there before them and catch it. This weekend is the championship and there will also be waves, so I am happy to be here, with good waves and an event that is coming for the kids who have a great level and we are going to give it our all.”
Below and above, evidence that he is giving it his all.
