La Herradura Tournament waits again
The green light for the classic event in the Lima wave was cancelled due to lack of size
Several of Peru's best surfers were at La Herradura earlier today; the classic Lima break had good conditions but was not big enough to host the 15th edition of the tournament, so the organizers decided to cancel the green light they had called for midweek.
"The event is suspended until further notice as the waves did not meet the requirements for this championship. We will be announcing the new date soon. Thank you to the surfers and the general public for attending," says a post from Quiksilver Peru made this morning.
Yesterday the Pico Alto event was held, which was won by Cristobal de Col, and today the La Herradura event was planned to take place.
