Interview with Mimi Barona: "I smile and cry, I smile and cry"
After learning that she had qualified, the Ecuadorian spoke with DUKE

Mimi Barona lost in the third round of the World Championships in El Salvador and did not give up hope. She knew that in Daniella Rosas she had a good chance of making it to the Olympic Games.
The young Peruvian went through the rounds until she was too close. If Rosas qualified through the World Cup in El Salvador, she would stop using the Lima 2019 one and Barona, who was second in that World Cup, would qualify there.
It finally happened, in round 5 of the main event, Daniella Rosas and Leilani McGonagle advanced.
Mimi celebrated and shares it here.
