Presents Surf City - El Salvador Travel

Two-time world champion John John Florence has just announced on social media that he will not be at the Surf City Pro that will take place in Punta Roca, El Salvador, between June 12 and 20.

Florence had surfed with knee pads in the G-Land tournament but showed signs of calm in her heats where she surfed well, in an inconsistent sea.

But he recently wrote on Instagram: “I found out yesterday that the pain I was feeling at G-Land is due to a ligament injury that happened at the event. This is tough news for me and means I have to miss El Salvador and probably Brazil. This hurts me a lot to be honest.”

“There will always be moments that are difficult to anticipate, out of control, and we must try to respond in the best way possible. Thank you for the support and messages over the last few days,” Florence concluded.

The big question now is who will replace John John.
