Reyes, Garrido-Lecca and Zairquiey won in Lobitos
Three of the four categories in dispute at the event remained on Peruvian soil
Peruvians Lucas Garrido Lecca and Mafer Reyes on longboard and Catalina Zariquiey in Pro Junior were the champions of the first of two stages of the WSL in Peru contested on the perfect lefts of Piscinas, in Lobitos.
Three of the four divisions in competition, men's and women's longboard and women's pro junior, were won by locals and one, men's pro junior, by Brazilians.
Garrido Lecca beat Alexandre Escobar, second in the ranking, in a final in which he was considerably superior, scoring 14,07 (7,40+6,67) and his opponent 9,34 pts (5,77+3,57).
This result catapulted Garrido Lecca to fourth position in the ranking:
1st: Jefson Silva (BRA) - 2.150 points

The first of these qualifies the Longboard CT.
Tied for third place in that division were Julián Schweizer of Uruguay and Joan Aponte of Peru.

Meanwhile, María Fernanda Reyes was the champion among three other Brazilians who pushed her but could not overcome the local knowledge of the Peruvian.
Mafer beat Kate Brandi in the semis and Luana Soares in the grand final.

The semi-finals were 100% Peruvian, with Sofía Artieda and Kalea Gervasi finishing third.
