Manny Resano has his segment in the new Mavericks movie
“Manny’s Day” is the name of the Nicaraguan and Argentine section of the film Next Level by Powerlines Productions
Argentine and Nicaraguan Manny Resano will have a segment dedicated to himself in the new film by Maviericks' audiovisual production company, Powerlines Productions, which will be called Next Level, according to information posted yesterday on the company's Facebook account.
“Manny’s Day” is the name of a segment of a film that Manny himself told DUKE will be more like the videos of the nineties, with a solid 40 minutes of surfing and good music.
The film showcases the best of the epic winter of 2018 and was pre-released late last year
Yesterday, the first segment was launched with very heavy surfing on one of the wildest waves on the planet.
Resano is likely to become the first Hispanic American to occupy a full segment in a local Mavericks movie. Asked about this, he said: “I am very happy... Not so much for being the first Hispanic or not. But for the section and for being welcomed in Mavs.”
Last week Mavs local youngster Luca Padua named Manny one of the top five underground surfers on the wave.
