Three-time world champion Gabriel Medina returned to the water, he showed on social media, surfing in Sao Conrado, Rio de Janeiro, tow-a-ways and doing some good tubes.

Medina had given signs that he was recovering from his knee injury that he suffered at the Saquarema CT, and ultimately decided not to go to Teahupoo.

Now he has given signs that he is ready for the competition.
