Last Friday was the unofficial opening day of the winter season in the queen of Northern California, Mavericks.
The Argentine and Nicaraguan, Manny Resano, who has won the hearts of the locals (something that is not easy to do), was once again present.
Powerlines Productions, which has been making videos of the wave since it was discovered, posted a photo of Manny landing a bombshell and noted: “The energy from Typhoon Hagibis spun from Japan to Alaska and then to California where Manny Resano landed some waves like this at Mavericks. Manny is always a standout at Mavericks. He surfs whenever he can and usually goes left.”
